When
you start this program it is a critical moment to define exectly
your physical level. Don't rush to estimate your shape too
highly than you really are. After about two weeks of exercises
you will have a correct estimation what physical level you
are and continue to perform the program with pleasure and
progress.
We have three groups:
walking group-
go around the park, take a fresh breath
and support another groups to keep going their practice;
running group-
run the practice field and perform simple
exercises, support other groups to keep going their practice;
swimming group-
this
group has same exercises as other groups, but in addition
they are prepared to swim until
December,
24.
When
December comes, it will be the most exciting moment of this
program.
All members will be involved in the process to overcome freezing
water.
Some of us will encourage others who are prepared to swim,
by preparing a canal into ice for swimming.
When 3-5 members are ready to swim in ice water, we will begin
"Santa's Ice Swimmers"
main mission:
to swim by
the Parliament Building in Ottawa.
Every year, every December
24th, we swim around the Parliament Building, raising money
for charity and to show people our way to be healthy.
